Fifthteen Annual Golf Tournament & Marathon

Living Word Academy’s 14th Annual Golf Tournament & Marathon was held to raise money for Living Word Academy’s Assisted Learning Program. Proceeds to date have totaled over $650,000. Last year, over $40,000 were raised. This year, the 100-Hole Marathon will be held on May 3, 2010 and the Tournament is May 12 & 13. Both events will be held at Foxchase Golf Club, 300 Stevens Road, Denver, Pa.

                                                                    Tournament Details

The Golf Tournament is a two-day, two-round tournament. Both days will have an afternoon round which will be a four-person sramble. Registration will begin at 12:00 pm, with a shotgun start at 1:00 pm. Wednesday will be the Corporate Round, designed as a business round which honors our Tournament, Corporate, and Eagle Sponsors (see more below). Prizes will be awarded in all rounds. The registration fee for one round is $75.00 and $135.00 for two rounds.
The registration fee includes:
    a sleeve of golf balls
    golf tees
    green fees
    golf cart
    snacks
    a buffet meal
    and much more!

                                                                   Marathon Details

The Marathon, will involve golfers who commit to golf 50 or 100 holes from sunrise to sunset. To qualify as a marathon golfer, each golfer must raise a minimum of $500 in pledges. The Tournament is a professionally-presented event that is open to all levels of golfers. Your company is invited to participate in supporting the Assisted Learning Department at Living Word Academy. Assisted Learning provides services for those students who struggle with physical and/or mental disabilities that hinder their ability to learn.
